I just have to give a shout out to this pizza joint that is popping up all over the place. Normally we don't do restaurant reviews because we don't go out much here (you've probably noticed that though), but I've been made a few stops here lately, and I just have to share how much I love it.
If you haven't been to Pieology before it's a fusion of Chipotle/Subway and Papa Murphy's. You pick your toppings (sauce, cheese, meats and veggies) and then they fire it up right there for you. It's all done for the price of $7.95! I love it.
The atmosphere in the restaurants is laid back. It's got an industrial feel which was my second reason to say that it's got a Chipotle vibe. Plus with beer and wine options, it's got an appeal for people of all ages. My biggest problem was the lighting made it difficult to get good shots of the pizza that didn't have shadows, which is a major problem!
I've tried a couple of different pizzas at this point, but my winning combination is definitely Alfredo sauce with mozzarella and feta, chicken, spinach, pineapple and garlic. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy which is honestly the best.
Since I've been professing my love for Pieology all around work, people have been telling me about MOD Pizza, and I might just have to try it out.
