Homemade Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce Recipe

Hello food friends and happy Memorial Day weekend! One of my favorite drinks at any BBQ (or really anytime) is an ice cold Coca-Cola. So I put a challenge on myself to make a Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce mix to make this Memorial Day a little more unique. To be fair, it's probably not the "prettiest" sauce, but it is definitely the most delish!

Homemade Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce

What You'll Need

1/2 cup Coca-Cola
1/4 cup Dole Pineapple Juilce
1/2 orange, juiced
3 tablespoons BBQ Sauce
3 tablespoons Tillamook Vanilla Greek Yogurt

Coca-Cola BBQ Sauce Ingredients

How to Make

To make the sauce, it's pretty simple. I just added all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stirred until it was well mixed. The one thing that you will notice while making this sauce is that the the greek yogurt will leave little white spots throughout the sauce.

To thicken the sauce I added two teaspoons of flour and then seasoned with some red and black pepper.

Once you've mixed all ingredients, place the sauce into a small sauce pan and bring to a boil and stir.

Store in a container in the fridge overnight and then serve with your favorite BBQ food like I did with chicken. You could also serve this sauce on burgers, little smokies or even marinate your steak overnight.
