Holiday Eggnog Coffee Creamer Recipe

Hello foodie friends! Tis the season for ugly sweater parties and lots of egg nog! When my birthday rolls around at beginning of November, I always know it's time for my favorite beverage. Having some sort of egg nog option at your holiday party is crucial. So here I am to show you how to serve a homemade egg nog coffee creamer that people will be dying to put in their coffee at your next get together.

Now my obsession with making coffee creamers goes back a few months ago when Rosie chastised me for drinking store bought creamers because of all the soy/ingredients in it. Okay, Rose. I get it. So began embarking on this journey, and I've found a comfortable place and creamer recipe that I really love.

INGREDIENTS
*these first three ingredients go in every coffee creamer recipe*
• 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 2 cups Whole Milk (a lot of recipes call for half and half, but that's really heavy and I like this lighter touch)
• splash of vanilla extract (no more than a teaspoon)
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• Cinnamon to choice (I like Cinnamon a lot, so I used 1 1/2 teaspoons)
• 1/4 cup Egg Nog

MAKE IT HAPPEN
Combine all ingredients in some sort of container that can be shaken or use a blender (I didn't think of the blender until afterwards, and I totally would have done it that way). Depending on how you mix it up, shake/mix/blend for at least ten minutes.

Place in a sealable container and serve with hot coffee. I will say it definitely pairs well with the Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee we picked up at the store.

I actually really like making these coffee creamers now, so maybe I should thank Rosie for making me feel bad. Nahh! I hope you're having a nice, warm start to your December. Let us know if you use any of our recipes this month, and if you do tweet us with the #DecemberDelights hashtag.
