Love Cake

Hello food friends! As part of the Valentine's series, we know you're going to want to have a dessert to feed your sweetheart on this most romantic of holidays. Holly and I whipped up a super easy, yet super tasty dessert that will surely help you land some major points with your loved one this February 14th.

Ingredients:
• 1 Box Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix
• Heart shape cup cake baking pan
• 8 oz container of cream cheese
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 2 Tspn vanilla
• 1 small package crushed hazelnuts

Directions
Prepare cake mix per the boxes instructions.

Pour mix into heart shaped cupcake pan or heart shaped cake pan and bake.

In a medium sized bowl, prepare your cream cheese frosting.

Place powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter and vanilla into bowl and mix until a good creamy consistency is achieved.

Then place bag of hazelnuts in frosting and stir again to make sure that hazelnuts are even spread throughout mixture.

Once the cakes have been completed, let cool and then cut the top off the cupcakes so that the heart shape re-appears.

Once the cooling and the cutting has been complete you are ready to frost and serve.

These Love Cakes will surely tell your significant other that you love them. Pair with a cherry ice cream and you are set!
