Ahh Thanksgiving! It's a great holiday to get stuffed full of food and laugh with friends and family. Of course, holiday get togethers can be stressful, but it's fun to remember some of our favorite memories of Thanksgivings Past. Take a walk down memory lane, as we share some of our favorite memories.

Growing up Thanksgiving was FILLING. We lived near both my parents' families so the obligatory double holiday rule always applied. I loved going to my Aunt DeElda's where crazy shenanigans and delicious potato salad were always had. I've lovingly referred to her as Rainbow Lady for as long as I can remember. She is a whoot!

But my most favorite memories were at the kids table at my grandpa and grandma's house. My cousins were and still are some of the funniest people I know. We laughed and laughed and laughed about something dumb one of us was doing. The kid's table is still the best table to be at during the holidays.
This holiday is going to be the first without my grandma, which makes me sad, but I'm sure that with all the great memories of her and my grandfather, we'll still have a great time.

My family has typically been pretty low-key for Thanksgiving, but we've hosted relatives on multiple occasions. We've done everything from the traditional Thanksgiving feast of turkey and sides while watching football with family to having a barely existent Thanksgiving because multiple people were working on that day.
As long as I have the day off of work, I know that I will enjoy Thanksgiving. I love to cook and eat, and then wake up super early the next day to shop! When I was a kid, though, I would do anything I could to get out of helping to clean up. I always enjoyed the turkey days when my grandmothers would visit because I knew they would help clean up. Thanks grannies.

I love Thanksgiving because it is an excuse to get together with family, and that has always been one of my favorite things. In my family we rotated between my mom and her 5 other siblings houses, so it was always fun.
When i met my husband we started spending Thanksgiving with his family, and that rotated through his various family members. In the past five years we started spending Thanksgiving with his grandparents in southern Oregon. I always looked so forward to these holiday weekends, and having a destination was wonderful. Last year I actually had the chance to invite my parents to come along and have Thanksgiving with my in-laws, and it was a fantastic memory filled day. One of my favorite ever.
