Roasted Chicken with Apples and Bacon

Well foodie friends I've got to tell you something, I have finally mastered roasted chicken. I have been obsessing over it, and been making roasted chicken almost every weekend. It is SO good, and it always feels kind of fancy. If you haven't noticed, I kinda like fancy stuff. I have roasted chicken so many different ways- forty cloves of garlic, artichoke and mushroom, lemon, you name it, I've probably roasted it. I am confident I could make roasted chicken out of just about anything now. And that is a good place to be.

Big Game Day Double Decker Quesadilla Pizza Recipe

This week I wanted to post a Super Bowl snack. I was thinking of something easy, cheesy, delicious, and crowd-pleasing. When I think of Super Bowl parties, I imagine two groups of people: one group that's glued to the screen and another that is there for the social aspect. Having a variety of fun and easy-to-eat snacks is a must at a gathering like this because you want to keep it simple for the ones who won't look away from the game but still entertain those who are there to see everyone.

After taking all of the requirements into account, I decided to make a Double Decker Quesadilla Pizza. It is very easy to make, and it is yummy and fun for kids and adults alike. Each pizza quesadilla serves 1 to 2 adults or 2 to 3 kids, so it is an easy way to satisfy those hungry bellies. Sit back, relax, and let's hope there's wardrobe malfunction to talk about this year.

Lemon Almond Poppyseed Loaf Recipe

lemon almond poppyseed loaf
Hello foodie friends! Doesn't it feel like no matter where you turn lately someone is posting something about lemons? Lemons in their drinks, lemons in their food, lemons in their cleaning products. Just me? Well I was inspired by all this lemon-mania to make a home base favorite: lemon poppyseed loaf.

Chocolate Dipped Potato Chips

Well, this recipe gives a whole new meaning to Chocolate Chips. I have had chocolate dipped chips before, my mother searches them out, she knows which shops carry them, and will return for them time after time. So, it wasn't a hard decision to make them for her birthday party weekend, that I returned from yesterday, and are still recovering from today.

Grandma's (Mini) Meatloaf Recipe

Hello foodie friends and happy Friday! Lately I have been craving meatloaf which is something that my 10 year old self would be cringing at, but honestly #sogood. I am pretty sure as a 10 year old I would have bawled my eyes out if meatloaf were to find its way onto my plate. I just don't get it...okay, I've got to stop on this story or it could just go on and on. In short, I have fondly been loving meatloaf for a few years now. Here's my favorite recipe.

Homemade Dog Treats Recipe

I generally don't cook for my dogs because I find that they aren't picky. They'll eat just about anything including things that are down-right nasty, but sometimes I like to spoil them when they're being especially cute. So, for my first post of 2015, I decided to make some healthy and delicious treats for my fur babies. These treats smelled so good while they were cooking, I had to try a sample for myself! These are fully edible for humans, of course, but they lack full flavor because dogs really shouldn't eat all the extra salt and sugar (neither should I for that matter, but I digress).

I lovingly named these treats Blondie Bones after my scottish terrier-poodle mix because she loves carrots and bananas. I was nice enough to let the other dogs have some too, but I let Blondie know that I made them especially for her.

Rosie left an impression that we should all want to be her friend. No only were the cookies amazing, the packaging which according to her is just as important (if not more) as taste.

HOLLY JOLLY HOT CHOCOLATE
We were all about loving on hot cocoa during Christmas. There's just something about a piping hot cup of cocoa that adds to the romanticism of Christmastime. Holly packages it nicely with a candy cane and bows. #ADORABLE

Finally Warren showed us how to take a box of Duncan Hines and make a delicious and super elegant looking cookie. You will love the ease and breeze of this recipe!
