Grandma's (Mini) Meatloaf Recipe

Hello foodie friends and happy Friday! Lately I have been craving meatloaf which is something that my 10 year old self would be cringing at, but honestly #sogood. I am pretty sure as a 10 year old I would have bawled my eyes out if meatloaf were to find its way onto my plate. I just don't get it...okay, I've got to stop on this story or it could just go on and on. In short, I have fondly been loving meatloaf for a few years now. Here's my favorite recipe.

• 1 pound ground meat (I used turkey today, which would have gone so far against my grandma's recipe I can feel her scolding me from the grave)
• 1 can of Campbell's Tomato Soup (generally, I would say that name brands aren't important, but for meatloaf they are).
• 1 cup Quaker Oatmeal
• A handful of dried onion
• a pinch of salt & pepper (no other seasonings should be used, all grandma's only use salt & pepper in their meatloaf, trust me)
Heinz Ketchup

Make it up

Pre-heat the oven to 425˚

Wash your hands and scrub them really good. Things are going to get messy! Combine all ingredients except the ketchup in a bowl and then using your hands mix it all up. (You're probably really freaked out by this...maybe...but you should understand this is how you know your meatloaf is made with love, plus it's so fun and squishy!)

Put the meat mixture into a large loaf pan, or do something cute and put it in mini loaf pans.

Bake for 30-40 minutes depending on how crispy you like it (we always have had it so that it's just crispy on the outside and then so juicy (?) on the inside).

MUST BE SERVED WITH ROASTED VEGGIES

Hope you've enjoyed another fascinating recipe :)
