Hello foodie friends!!!! First of all I've missed you so much. We've been gone for a bit. I'm pretty sure October is just a hard time of year for us. But never fear, we'll always be back! Now on to the show.
This week I got the opportunity to try the MunchPak box. I was excited to get to try some of the tasty treats because one, I love snacks, and two, I love fun things. When the box arrived I was ready to get my life.
The first thing that I loved about the Munchpak was the overall package. The box that it came in was totally adorable. Smiles all around! :)
My one bone to pick with the packaging is that it didn't come with a description of the products that came in my Munchpak. Because these snacks come from all around the world, most of it is in a different language. Of course, I could infer what most of it is, but I would have loved a quick description of each thing and where in the world they originate.
Now on to the treats! First and foremost, I knew my favorite thing would be the Haribo Teeth from Germany. I love a gummy candy. They're fun to eat. Plus they were teeth shaped which made them bizarre.
The most surprising item in the box was probably the Lotte Matcha Caramel Chew Candy from Japan. It was earthy and sweet and not gum. Here's a perfect example of an item that could have used a description. I had my brother and his girlfriend try it as well and we all agreed it was pleasantly nice.
Finally the last product that I want to give a shout out too in a positive light are the Pepero sticks from South Korea. They were fantastic, but the point of writing about them was that they made me laugh. I don't know why, but it was cracking me up that it was just an inverted Pocky stick.
The only product that I was not for, that I wasn't even going to try was the Bake Rolls from Greece. They were mushroom and cream flavored, and I just couldn't. Good news is that my mother really liked them, but she is a nut for mushrooms.
Overall I'm really happy with the Munchpak box. It was totally fun trying everything in the box. I opened this and tried it with my family, and it made for a really fun experience. If you're interested in trying it for yourself, you can get your own Munchpack online.
