Grapefruits are a delightfully tangy citrus fruit. I used to just slice them up and eat them all the time! So much citrus got to be too much for me. I loved them but they no longer loved me. The other day I was missing my sweet ruby friend and decided that maybe broiling with honey might help with the intensity. It sure did! I can now enjoy grapefruit again and the salt makes them even sweeter.
Ingredients:
- A grapefruit
- Honey
- Salt
- Slice grapefruit in half and then into wedges.
- Drizzle each wedge with honey.
- Broil for 10 mins, two inches from heat. I used my toaster oven.
- Remove from pan and add salt.
- Enjoy!
