Pacific Honey Rose Mini Pies Recipe

Hello food friends! I don't know about you, but I love miniature things. They are absolutely adorable and make life just a little bit better. Miniature dogs? Yes please! Miniature cupcakes? Obvi. So why not have a mini pie?

I recently saw a picture in a coupon/ad for Pillsbury Biscuits that showed miniature pot pies. "How adorable!" was my initial reaction. However, I am not a fan of pot pie (sue me). I did see the potential for having cute little pies that were basically "pop-able." Thus came the idea for a mini pie.

Ingredients:
• 2 Medium sized Pacific Rose Apples
• 1 8 pack of Pillsbury Biscuits
• Honey
• Cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Start by rinsing off and chopping up the the apples into tiny pieces. If you didn't know by now, I'm a skins on believer, so I don't skin the apple.

Place chopped apples into a pan and add your desired amount of honey and cinnamon. Let cook on stove for about 10 minutes.

Take the Pillsbury Biscuits and stretch them out and place into a sprayed cupcake pan. Add the honey apple mixture into the cupcake pan (see image).

Bake for 12 minutes.

Serve hot and with Tillamook ice cream (not absolutely mandatory, but why not?)
