Hello foodies! As you may know, I recently acquired a new KitchenAid Stand Mixer (which you can read about here), and I have been obsessed with using it for everything. I've made breads, butters, cookies, but my favorite thing has been whipping up some fresh Alfredo sauce. I have always liked Alfredo, but when you make it yourself, I think there's a real love that happens. I thought I'd give a shot at making a special spinach Alfredo to show you guys how quick and easy it can be!

A review: Mi Casa Mexicana in Anaheim, CA
Sometimes you need to eat on a budget. This definitely might be the case when you are visiting Disneyland. With a 1 day ticket ringing in at $92, it's good to save a few bucks where you can. Mi Casa Mexicana to the rescue. This inexpensive local Mexican restaurant is just a few minutes from Disneyland.

Simple Spring Pies: Cherry and Cocoa Banana Cream
Few things in life bring more joy than the first signs of spring and fresh, homemade pies. Like spring days, pies can vary so much that it's hard to pick just one favorite. I love a hot, fruit pie or a chilled and decadent cream pie. My two very favorite flavors are cherry and banana cream, so I am going to give you a very easy-to-make version of each flavor because I just love you all so much!

Homemade Irish Cream!
This weeks post is brought to you by St. Patricks Day!
In case you were wondering, I am fully aware that St. Patrick's day was Monday, I totes wore green to work, and ate corned beef hash for dinner. I even highfived a leprechaun! And I was completely inspired to start a new feature- Fancy Drink Fridays. By now I'm sure you've noticed that I like a good fancy drink, and thus today's special feature was born.
So let's get straight to it.

Zucchini Pasta with Almost Pesto
Its a bit late for a green meal, St. Patrick's Day was Monday, but this is still a fun and green! Being gluten free isnt easy. I used to be a bread and pasta eating machine! Being paleo(ish) is even harder, no grains and no beans too, so no fake pasta... This recipe makes life easier and feel a little bit more normal and it s delicious! When I first went paleo I ate it all the time. You need a few tools, a vegetable peeler or a spiralizer. If you plan on making "zucchetti" often I would recommend investing in a spiralizer. You can take out tons of zucchini in a blink of an eye!
When I could eat cheese I loved pesto. This is an Almost Pesto because it doesnt have nuts or any cheese or nutritional yeast. I think the basil is enough!

St Patty's Day Breakfast: Corned Beef Hash
Hello food friends! It's St. Patrick's Day which, if you're in school and your not wearing green, can potentially be the worst day ever. I have the perfect solution to having the day go great right from the get go. Corned Beef Hash!
Now, I've always been a fan of the corned beef and corned beef hash is a staple of breakfast, but as I've grown up, I've become less of a fan of the stuff in a can. The last couple of times I've been out to brunch though, I've discovered Corned Beef Hash made with real pieces of corned beef and it is divine! So let's take a look at something that is a classic St. Patty's Day player, and make it special.

Asparagus and Cheese Wrapped with Bacon and Prosciutto
Hi, it's your friend Holly again. Do you know what the most serious and dangerous disease is that's about to have a huge outbreak tomorrow morning? Well, it's called the "Mondays." Symptoms include: inexplicable anger, extreme fatigue, and the desire to throw random computers through the nearest window. While the only known cure for a case of the Mondays is the weekend, I am about to share a recipe that will dull the pain significantly. Follow along with me here: Asparagus, cheese, bacon, AND (yes AND) prosciutto.

Blood Orange Champagne Cocktail
Today's recipe was completely inspired by the beautiful day that we had in Portland Oregon today. Look at that blue sky! Can you blame me? Everyone I have encountered today was abuzz about the sunshine. So my fellow blogger Sarah and I decided we needed a sweet sparkly drink to quench our thirst for Friday fun.

Review: Tin Shed Garden Cafe
Three friends ventured to a new brunch spot named Tin Shed. Well at least, new to them. The restaurant is literally a tin shed. But this tin shed is rustic and quite pretty. Even if you’re seated on the patio (as we were) it’s nice and warm with a blazing heater. Expect to wait a while, but there is a cute little shop across the street called Frock – filled with accessories and clothing that might help you pass the time.
